The Three Crosses

Another drawing done by Van Rijn. This one defiantly has a good positive/negative relationship to it. The light and darkness to it basically appear back to back and that makes them look balanced and equal.

Abraham Francen

This piece was done Rembrandt Van Rijn. I think the positive/negative relationship is a good one. There's light coming from the window and that adds to the positive space while below the window it adds to the negative affect. I think it has a very good contrast and value balance to it.

The Potato Eaters

This is a piece done by Vincent Van Gogh. I kinda like it. While I do wish it was a tad more brighter, I think the light and dark contrast fit, since the room the characters are in would be dark anyway and since it's lit by a small flame so I think it has a good positive/negative relationship to it.

I'm going toward a major in Computer Animation. Back home (which is Round Rock Texas) there weren't many art colleges that at least offered the kind of major I'm going toward, plus I wanted to get out of Texas and the almost never ending hot if not humid weather, so I looked up some and came across MCA and I'm glad I did, because it's got pretty much everything I'd want in college. I'm enjoying it so far.I hope to get an animation job at studios like PIXAR because I really like the work that they do there. I just think it's cool.
